about
" Play the War Drums " is a song of a young native boy telling a story about his father who is a chief of his tribe. It is a song of Native heritage based on the late 1800's and how the son is told to play the war drums for the freedom and rights they wish to gain.
Enjoy singing with the song as I have added the lyrics in the next box.
